15 month checkup

Sashie had her 15 month appt yesterday and did really well. Here's her stats:
  • 22.7 lbs (25th percentile)
  • 30 inches (45th percentile)
As for milestones she hit them all and was actually hitting some 18 and 24 month ones.

Words: Mama, Dada, Hary (Harry, our cat), bye-bye, ba (bottle), YaYa, done, nana (banana), tagtag (her Taggie blankie), bibby (bib), today Josh is almost certain she started a version of What's this?

Signs: more, eat, milk, drink, book, all done, please, please, wash/bath, very close to thank you

She follows directions really well (when she wants to), sleeps consistantly from about 7:30pm - 6am-ish, she can drink from a straw, and eats pretty much anything... literally anything! Mexican, Indian, Italian, you name it. She LOVES Mexican... couldn't have been all that I ate when I was pregnant ;)

She did well with the shots but last night we started a pretty high temp and ended up covered in throw up after being in bed for a while. That was fun! A second bath and lots of TLC and back to bed. A rough night followed but as we continued with tylenol the fever continued to go down and she felt better.

We won't go back until 2 yrs old since she's doing so well and no shots are due. Oh and at 18 months the goal is for the last bottle (at night) to end... we'll see.

Here's a few pics from a few days ago... such our little diva!

Yesterday morning this is how I found her at one point...

Such the multitasker...
What? Am I funny to you?

Love books and hat, not grass so much

Sorry it's been a while since a post. We've had some visitors the past few weekends (YaYa and Grandma) and I've been dealing with more migraines than usual and new found pelvic pains that I get to see a new specialist for, yay! (note the hint of sarcasm). But even with all this, plenty of pictures, and even some video have been taken of the princess.

Toddler room is going pretty well for the girl. There are times where she doesn't exactly want to nap or eat all her lunch, but over all the transition has been better than we could have asked for.

Her first full day:

With some cooler days we've gone out some and played with our swingset. Just like me, she's not a huge fan of grass, but she does have fun on her set.

Oh there's that grass stuff... not a big fan.

Enough of the grass...
I've had enough of this people!

Her love of books continues to grow. Either we read them over and over, and OVER, to her or she'll sit and "read" them to herself and Brody (her stuffed dog). She also found a love for this hat and goes through phases where she won't take it off :)

Just kickin back, wearing her hat

How cute is this? Seriously?

Sashie also turned 15 months old... and boy do we know it. The girl will no longer sit for those famous month pictures.

Missed her again...

And just this past weekend, we were introduced to Playmobil toys. I heard about them from Miss Kate's blog and got Sashie her first one this weekend. She's hooked!

She'll often play like this

And now to end this never ending post... my favorite pic of the past few weeks: "A Daddy watching his girl"
