Harry is loud. Yes, I know, to many of you this is not a news flash. But, as he's gotten older he's gotten a bit snippy and louder when he wants things. For instance, if he wants food or water and you're just not giving it to him and the precise second he wants it or if he wants some water from the faucet in the bathroom and you're in the middle of doing something. It's at these times he starts meowing non-stop. Sasha's daddy and I will tell him to "hush," sometimes repeatedly. Well, Sasha has caught on and will now tell him to "hush" too.
I haven't been able to get this as she's doing it on her own but I did prompt her yesterday when Harry was in one of his moods. For some of you, I know you'll take so much joy in this... Sasha's daddy does; at times, you can hear him laughing all the way across the house.
Here's video Josh took during all the fun on Saturday morning. A little bit into the video and something starts to break up underground and you can see things start to gurgle (seriously, no other word for it). It's as if an alien is about to come out of the ground... as you can tell from my reaction...
And it's still coming down! The rain started early this morning and it has only let us a few brief times. Our neighbors across the street have had issues in the past with their storm drain keeping up during hard rain and all of our yards get really soggy, but NOTHING LIKE THIS. Here's a few pictures of what we're experiencing in the fabulous South. No end in sight until tomorrow. The forecast was for 4-10 inches between Friday - Sunday. Fun, fun!
What you're seeing here cleared out in about 1/2 hr or so. It was like this earlier this morning as well, cleared, then came back and we took these pictures and cleared again. Currently, the street is clear :)
