This fall is going to be one of many firsts for our precious princess. Sasha is now registered for "big girl" school and soccer. Yes, real soccer with a jersey, shin pads and cleats.
"Big girl" school really is SCHOOL...with notes written when she's tardy or absent, folders sent home, etc... I knew all this (don't get me wrong), just it didn't hit me until orientation last night. Her first day of school, a half one, is this Thursday, and the first full day is next Tuesday (Her school, a Catholic one, does a graduated start for 3K students). Pictures will be plentiful, don't worry... and I promise it won't take 6 months for me to get them up on here and Flickr.
The "summer" is essentially over for us. It's been a very fun one filled with our first family vacation, many friends' birthday parties, pool fun, and growing up. If you haven't checked our
Flickr site out recently be sure to, since pictures of a lot of the summer fun can be found there.
I have more summer pics on the camera so I'll be sure to upload them soon.
Seriously, I can't believe it's already time for us to be taking these next steps with our girl that we prayed so long and hard for to God. Our miracle babe is thriving and we pray to him she continues to do so as she enters her new school.
Thanks all for continuing to read about our girl! I'll be sure to let you know how the first day goes :)
